Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Root, Clockwork mod Recovery CWM
Clockwork Mod 6 is now available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and as of now, it is fully compatible with SM-T310, SM-T311 and SM-T315. After flashing the CWM, you will gain the ability to flash custom ROM, kernels and whatnot.
1. Get the package from here and place it in the root of your external SD card.
2. Reboot to CWM recovery. Do this by pressing Power+Vol UP.
3. chose zip from sd card
4. Select the root.zip file.

Most of us hate the Samsung’s TouchWiz interface but some of us, including me love it. That is why I prefer keeping myself to stock ROMs on my Galaxy Note 2 7.0 (includes P3110, P3113) and then rooting them by the usual methods. Now, a new firmware has cropped on XDA that is rooted, deodexed, debloated; has busy box installed and is completely stock. Here is how it looks like.

Galaxy Tab 3 7 Benchmark, Review, vs Tab 2, iPad Mini
A couple of days back, Samsung surprised the whole world by churning out the successor of Tab 2 that was destined to be released at IFA 2013. Anyway, we have the review device with us and we were lucky enough to run a few benchmarks on it to see how it compare benchmark wise to the Galaxy Tab 2.
Galaxy Tab 3 7 Benchmark
As you can see, the Tab 3 7 inch scored much higher than the Tab 2, which scored mere 1165 points in GFXBench 2.5 Egypt HD C24Z16 test. However, it is evident that even the new Galaxy Tab 3 is no match for the Apple’s iPad Mini released last year that carried the processor of iPad 2, the Apple A5. The iPad Mini scored 2855 in the same benchmark test.

Tablet UI on Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
For some reason, Samsung did not activate full tablet UI on the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. There is a way to enjoy full tablet UI by using Xposed installer and Xposed TabletUI Trigger. However, you need your Tab 2 7.0 to be rooted for it to work.
