Until now, Samsung has been offering the Galaxy Tab tablets in only black color, but now the company has started offering white versions of Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Tab 7.0 Plus as well. This makes perfect sense as Apple has been offering iPad 2 in white from quite sometime and it has been extremely popular, especially among the women.
Not a lot of people like Samsung’s custom user interface, which the company calls “TouchWiz”. This UI comes preinstalled on the Tab tablets and Samsung smartphones. Unfortunately, the company does not allows the user to turn it off and the only way to get stock Android experience is by installing a custom ROM.
Features:
*two keyboards to choose from (N1 and P1 keyboard) longpress a text field and choose input method
*New emoticons added
*Transparent circular zoom controls
*modded Volume Bar and text (created by diz)
*based off of Cyanogen RC 7.2 and AOSP

It has higher resolution screen, better display (AMOLED) and improved built quality as well. Samsung was also able to bring the price down to 345 grams, which is lower than its predecessor.

This is a guide on how to use CWM (ClockworkMod Recovery) with your Galaxy Tab Plus tablet. Put the installation zip file on your tablet’s external SD card. If you don’t have an external SD card, you won’t be able to install this. MicroSD cards are cheap. If you have a tablet that costs 399 USD, you can afford to spend a few extra dollars on a microSD card. Just get one. Not only is it required for installing this from the factory recovery, but it makes a great place to back things up to. A nice 16GB card is suggested. 32GB is better. You’ll need AT LEAST 1GB for this recovery. If you have a previous version of CWM already in-place, you won’t need the storage card.
While custom ROMs are great, you will find soon find that in order to get the tablet serviced by the service center, you must be running the official firmware. My friends have sent me the link to the official US firmware.
1. Download and install LATEST SAMSUNG KIES
2. Transfer the root.zip (link) to the EXTERNAL CARD on Galaxy Tab Plus
3. Turn off the Galaxy Tab Plus
4. Enter Recovery
– Hold Volume UP button + Power Button
– When TAB turns ON, RELEASE POWER BUTTON (Keep Holding Volume UP Button)
– Will Enter Recovery
5. Select install update from EXTERNAL Storage
MyClip Thigh allows an airline pilot to hands free handle the plane. Features:

An xda user has released a ROM that gives you latest ICS ROM on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This ROM is the latest, last and official ROM available from Samsung which means everything on it is working like a charm. Nothing is broken – something you may run into while running a custom ROM.
Instructions:
1) NANDROID BACKUP (if you don’t want to backup, your choice). Download ROM
2) FULL WIPE (Data, Cache, Dalvik)
3) FLASH ROM using odin. If your device is not recognized, you might need the USB driver – downloadable from here. If any of the archives asks for the password, enter “samfirmware.com” without the “”.
4) Reboot (Give it 10 minutes at max)
5) Setup
Of course, all the credit goes to pershoot.
