There are myriad Hello Kitty cases for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 on Ebay and ecommerce websites, and Samsung now thinks that there should be a Hello Kitty edition of Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet. As expected, there are only minor cosmetic changes, such as pink chrome lining instead of silver, hello kitty wallpaper, and an ugly sticker on the back of the tablet.
Samsung abandoned the development of Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet with the release of Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (whose development was stopped after release of Tab 3 7.0). However, folks at XDA kept supporting this abandoned tablet by churning out Android 4.2.2 for it and whatnot.

Clockwork Mod 6 is now available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and as of now, it is fully compatible with SM-T310, SM-T311 and SM-T315. After flashing the CWM, you will gain the ability to flash custom ROM, kernels and whatnot.
1. Get the package from here and place it in the root of your external SD card.
2. Reboot to CWM recovery. Do this by pressing Power+Vol UP.
3. chose zip from sd card
4. Select the root.zip file.

We all love grabbing stock wallpapers of upcoming and new phones and tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is already selling like hotcakes and one of its user was kind enough to send us its stock wallpapers that comes bundled with the official ROM. Here they are.
Most of us hate the Samsung’s TouchWiz interface but some of us, including me love it. That is why I prefer keeping myself to stock ROMs on my Galaxy Note 2 7.0 (includes P3110, P3113) and then rooting them by the usual methods. Now, a new firmware has cropped on XDA that is rooted, deodexed, debloated; has busy box installed and is completely stock. Here is how it looks like.
Samsung did not sell a lot of Galaxy tab 8.9 tablets and due to that it never released Android 4.2.2, let alone Android 4.1.1 jelly bean for it. XDA is here to rescue and they were able to get everything working except for HDMI output. Even the keyboard dock works with it. This is a CM10.1 build so you get very fast and stock Android experience.
