Unlocking bootloader will allow you to install custom firmware on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. However, this will also void the warranty. Fortunately, you can relock the bootloader on your Samsung tablet to avail warranty if you want to do that. To that, you must first go to developer options in Settings and enable OEM unlocking.
Switch off your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite completely.
Press “Volume Up” and “Down” at the same time on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and then insert the USB cable on your computer until you see the blue screen, then press and hold “Volume Up” to unlock the bootloader of your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

After the factory reset do the setup. Make sure to check you have set the right date and time for your location. Then, connect to internet and check in developer options that “OEM unlocking” is still enable.
