Samsung will be launching Galaxy Tab S10, S10+ and S10 Ultra on October 3rd 2024. Prices start at 1500 dollars for the 256GB variant and 1600 dollars for the 512GB one.
Both models use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor. Compared to the previous Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra boasts 18% improved CPU performance, 28% improved GPU performance, and 14% improved NPU performance. In addition, the battery has been made to last longer and charge faster.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 is also touted as being equipped with AI functions that can be used right out of the box, and includes a Note Assist function in Samsung Notes that uses AI to transcribe and summarize, PDF Overlay Translation that translates PDFs on the screen, Handwritten Help that organizes handwritten notes, AI Sketch that generates images from text, and Enclosure Search that allows you to search for things on the screen simply by surrounding them.
In addition, the hardware functions have been enhanced to make the most of the AI assistant, including Air Command, which allows access to Galaxy AI functions using the included Galaxy S Pen, and a key for calling up Galaxy AI on the separately sold Book Cover Keyboard.
Other specifications of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra include 12GB of memory (16GB only for the Ultra 1TB storage model), a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels/120Hz, and Android 14 OS.
Specifications of the Galaxy Tab S10+ are similar to the S10 Ultra but comes with 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,752 pixels/120Hz. Other than that, there are no other differences.
